New schemes for cancelled plots by Greater Noida authority

NOIDA: Greater Noida Authority plans to bring new schemes on cancelled plots. Officials said
department heads of industrial, institutional, IT, builder and commercial categories have been
asked to take action against the defaulters and put their cancelled plots up for auction under
new schemes.
CEO Ritu Maheshwari conducted a meeting of all department heads on Tuesday to review the
progress made against the defaulters, who are yet to clear their dues. Subsequently,
instructions were given to confiscate all unsold properties of allottees who have not paid dues.
“Moreover, department heads were asked to take action against entrepreneurs who have been
sitting idle and not carrying out construction work on plots. It was felt that such inaction has not
only slowed down the progress of the city but also blocked employment for people. So such
plots would be allotted afresh now so that industries can be set up there and people can get
employment opportunities,” officials said.
Instructions were also issued to implement the reschedulement policy approved by the board
last month.
A review of the MoUs signed by the Greater Noida Authority for the UP Global Investors Summit
was also done. Instructions were given to convert these MoUs into investments.
Meanwhile, Greater Noida Authority plans to launch the scheme of shops, offices and kiosks
from January 13. All these properties will be allotted through auction.
The last date for registration has been fixed for February 3, while submission of registration,
earnest money and processing fees can be made till February 6. The date of the auction is yet
to be announced.
