About 760 of 2,000 plaints on flaws in property tax data resolved: Gurugram civi body
GURUGRAM: Of 2,027 complaints filed to rectify property tax data, MCG has resolved 760 complaints.
These complaints were received during the camps organised across the city on June 10 and 11, officials
said.
The civic body received a total of 2,027 complaints to rectify data of the property tax out of which 1,140
complaints were filed online and 887 complaints were filed offline in the camps.
“We had received 1,140 complaints online of which 760 were resolved. The online objections were filed
during the camps held in the city for two days. The objections raised offline during the camps are being simultaneously addressed,” said MCG spokesperson Satyabir Singh Rohilla.
The no dues certificate (NDC) portal of the Haryana government can be utilised by residents to raise their
objections and get the property tax data corrected. The property tax camps were held at Magnolias,
Belvedere Park, Regency Park-2, Essel Tower at MG road etc. on Saturday and Sunday. In zone-4, the
camps will be held at Tulip Violet in Sector 69, Orchid Petal in Sector 49, Vatika City, Wembley Estate in
Rosewood city etc.
A survey by an agency in January last year had found that 5.14 lakh properties come under the MCG’s
ambit.
