Seventeen industrial plots up for grabs in Greater Noida

GREATER NOIDA: The Greater Noida Authority on Monday launched another industrial scheme
of 17 plots ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 sqm, the second in a span of one and a half months.
The plots are in sectors Ecotech-10, Ecotech 1 Extension 1, Ecotech 1 Extension, Udyog
Kendra Ecotech 3 and Udyog Kendra 1 Ecotech 3. The last date for submitting applications for
this scheme is January 8. The allotments are expected to generate investments of Rs 1,200-
1,500 crore and jobs for about 1,500-2,000 people, officials said.
“In the past few years, Greater Noida has given a better environment for industries by way of
ease of doing business. Investors are constantly demanding land for setting up industries in the
Greater Noida region. In view of this, our udyog cell has launched yet another industrial scheme
of 17 plots,” said Narendra Bhooshan, CEO of GNIDA.
According to Bhooshan, this increased interest is evident from the three times response
received for an earlier industrial scheme launched for 90 plots on November 3 this year. Over
300 applications were received for the scheme aimed at generating investments worth Rs 900-
1,000 crore and employment opportunities for about 2,500-3,000 people.
“The plots in that scheme range from 450 sqm to 40,470 sqm area. While the allotment of plots
of less than 4,000 sqm will be done by a draw of lots, for plots sizes above 4,000 sqm,
interview-based allotment will be done,” he said.
Meanwhile, online applications are invited from Monday for the 17 industrial plots, and the last
date for submitting the same is January 08. “All types of green industries (non-polluting) are
invited to set up their units here once the allotment is complete,” said Bhooshan. Information
about this scheme is also available on authority website.
