Over 700 property tax data correction applications pending with Manesar civic bo dy

GURUGRAM: As many as 703 property tax data correction applications are pending with the Municipal
Corporation of Manesar (MCM) taxation department. MCM also received 93 applications for making new
property IDs, officials said.
The data was tabled by MCM officials in a review meeting chaired by the MCM commissioner here on Monday, earlier this week.MCM commissioner Sahil Gupta, on Monday, had directed the taxation department officials to address
the complaints in a timely manner. “The objections received for the corrections in the property tax data and applications for creating new property IDs should be addressed as per the timeline specified in the Haryana Right to Service Act, 2014,” Gupta said in the meeting.

The Urban Local Bodies (ULB) department had recently asked all municipal corporations to hold camps
to address the complaints related to faulty property tax data. MCM officials said that they are following
the directions of the ULB department and regularly organising camps across Manesar so that residents can
make corrections.
The commissioner also asked taxation department officials for the reason for keeping the data correction
files pending.
