Noida Authority GM inspects five sectors after RWAs highlight infra issues

NOIDA: Noida Authority GM Rajeev Tyagi visited sectors 50, 47, 28, 29 and 37 where RWAs demanded unsold shops be put on rent to facilitate local market, a bus shelter, a clubhouse, cleaning of vacant plots, repair of boundary wall and connecting small drain to the big drain in sector 47, FOB at sector 28 to connect to GIP mall, resurfacing of roads in sectors 29 and 37 which are pending since last year and repair of sector 50 parks along with broadening of access gates.

“A meeting was held with RWAs of sectors 50, 47 and Arun Vihar Residents Welfare Association (AVRWA) of sectors 28, 29 and 37 where many issues were raised. I have taken note of the problems raised and works required to be done and all needful jobs will be done at the earliest,” said Tyagi.

There were also demands for construction of concrete platforms in parks, shifting of transformers to green belts, and pruning of trees, repair of broken footpath tiles, covering of big open drain, cleaning of clogged sewers and drains and more.

While sector 47 demanded repair of boundary walls broken in many parts, they also demanded covering of open cables, underground laying of high tension power lines and converting of low tension lines into insulated wire.
