Greater Noida: Guards removed, residents of JKG Palm Court raise security concern

NOIDA: Residents of a housing society in Greater Noida protested against the developer on
Sunday for the lack of guards and other basic amenities that were promised to them.
The protesters placed five portraits of Yogi Adityanath on chairs outside the towers of JKG Palm
Court society and appealed to the CM to look into their complaints. The builder, they alleged,
removed the guards at the society a few weeks ago. They also raised security concerns, saying
the boundary wall that had broken several months was yet to be repaired.
The builder could be reached for comments despite repeated attempts.
“A few weeks ago, most of the housekeeping staff were removed. Now, the guards too have
been asked to go. Every week, there is a problem with the lift. Where will we lodge complaints
now?” asked a resident.
JKG Palm Court is home to around 1,200 residents.
“The builder neither has an occupation certificate from the nor has it ensured basic facilities like
multipoint connections, power backup, clubhouse, etc. We are still being asked to
pay maintenance charges,” said Aseem Trivedi, a resident.
