No OC issued for your building in Gurugram? Apply online before Dec 31

GURUGRAM: People who own residential, commercial and institutional buildings without getting
a valid occupation certificate (OC) from HSVP have one last chance to apply for it. They can
apply for an OC before December 31, officials said.
According to HSVP, they have found that a considerable number of residential, commercial and
institutional properties have been occupied without valid certificates.
“It has been decided that as a gesture of goodwill, all such allottees of group housing plots
carved by HSVP may also be given another, but one-time opportunity, to make an application for
issuance of occupation certificate for a limited period till December 31,” said an HSVP officer.

Under this one-time relief policy, those who want to apply for valid OC may make an application
along with the required documents and deposit the compounding fee for violations, if any.
Besides the compounding charges, the allottees will have to pay Rs 25,000 for residential, Rs
50,000 for commercial and Rs 1 lakh for institutional and group housing.
“The OC request application will be examined and decided on the basis of date of application,
and not the actual date of construction of building,” HSVP (Gurgaon) estate officer-2 Sanjeev
Singhla said.
Elaborating on the application process, he said one needs to make an online application on
HSVP’s website, along with supporting documents like electricity bill or water bill as well as
receipt of the fee prescribed.
The estate officer will check and examine the documents submitted online. A team will then visit
the building to check for violations and submit a signed report. The estate officer will approve
the case online, after which HSVP will issue the OC.
